Gacy, John Wayne- Finches. 14 x 18 color painting of three finches on branches with flowers, signed in red ball point pen with scarce full name signature, “John W. Gacy.” On the back Gacy has identified the painting and signed again. Across the top Gacy has inscribed: “I hope you enjoy these birds as much as much as I enjoyed doing it for you. Best Wishes, John W Gacy”. Very rare painting, being it is a pleasant scene and not like the usual clown or skull art that we see once in a great while. An exceptional piece unlike any I have ever seen painted by perhaps the most infamous of US serial killers. There is an old description taped to the back of the painting at the bottom. Comes with certificate of authenticity from PSA/DNA (world leader in authenticity). Signed 3x’s by Gacy. $1700.00

Night Visions 6. Arlington Heights: Dark Harvest, 1988. First deluxe edition. Introduction by Dean R. Koontz with original stories by: F. Paul Wilson, Sheri S. Tepper and Ray Garton. Number 439 of 600 limited signed copies, signed by all contributors. With original artwork by Phil Parks on title page. Spectacular! Parks’ has drawn in colored pencil, a one of a kind piece on the title page. Inscribed on the title page from Parks: “For Art - From the tenants downstairs, a quaint little toast just a pity to make it...someone gave up the ghost! Phil Parks”. Also included is a typed letter from Parks (signed), it reads: “March 2, 1990 - Dear Art, This copy of Night Visions 6 is one of a series of ten in which I have drawn an original illustration on the title page. Each of the images are similar but, no two are alike. Now, if I can just explain to my son why I can color in these books and he can’t. All my best, Phil Parks.” Art Stone was a large collector of fantasy, horror and sci-fi and personally known to most popular writers of these genres. It would be my guess that the other nine illustrated copies went to the contributing authors (4) and a few select personal friends. There is no copy available for sale in any of my research. This is a one of a kind piece by one the greatest artist in the horror/fantasy field. With slipcase. In fine condition. $600.00
